A beloved "trucker girl" influencer who inspired women to break into the male-dominated world of lorry driving has tragically died.

Oti Cabadas, 41, known online as Coco Trucker Girl, died on Monday after collapsing on her way home from a classic vehicle meet. The popular social media star - who had racked up hundreds of thousands of followers online for her upbeat trucking videos - began suffering from severe headaches before fainting in Alcaniz, Spain. The loved influencer was quickly airlifted to hospital in Zaragoza, but sadly died soon after. The popular trucking influencer sadly died from an unexpected stroke.

Oti, originally from Fornelos de Montes, in Galicia, ditched hairdressing to hit the road in large vehicle. She first climbed into a lorry aged 22 and later settled in Palencia, where her career took off.

The trucker once recalled being told by a teacher: "This isn't for you." Instead, she drove thousands of miles across Europe while taking videos of her adventures on the road.

Oti's charisma, humour and infectious positivity made her a social media sensation, especially on TikTok, where she had more than 300,000 followers. Through her videos, she celebrated the highs and hardships of life on the road - from long hauls to her signature "red-lip Fridays".
